Students are eligible if:

  • They are currently eligible for Free School Meals [FSM] or have been eligible in the last 6 years
  • They have been designated as a looked after child for more than 6 months
  • They are a child whose parents are currently serving in the Armed Forces.

The documents available for downloading via the links below detail a review of pupil premium spending for last year (2016-17), and a strategic plan on how we will use pupil premium in the current academic year (2017-18).

Pupil Premium Strategic Spending Plan 2017-2018

The year 7 catch-up premium for literacy and numeracy gives schools additional funding to support year 7 pupil who did not achieve at least level 4 in reading and / or maths at the end of year 6 (key stage 2). The amount received is £500 per pupil to whom it applies. The DfE informs schools of the funding it will receive and the pupils it applies to. A plan on how our academy plans to use this funding is available from the download below.
