Dance is unique; it offers children and young people not only a creative and artistic experience but an opportunity to express themselves using their body as the medium. We have all danced at some point in our lives dance, is inclusive; anyone can dance.

Here at Flegg our driving force is the idea that every child gets the opportunity to experience and develop their dance skills. Some people have a natural ability with Maths or English for some it is dance, by providing dance within our curriculum we are allowing these pupils to shine and triumph. For others who are not keen or who have not experienced dance, dance provides them the opportunity to try something new and to develop their self-esteem and confidence, team-working skills, fitness and creativity.
